Happiness is a choice and everyone decides for themselves how to live and how to perceive the world around them.
I’m Silvy and I learned this the hard way after giving 5 years of my life to bulimia.
It took time to take back control of my life, but I finally did.
Now I am healthy and my life’s mission is to help others who have lost themselves to make the right choice.
And the right choice is happiness!
I’ve been where you’ve been and done everything you’ve done and there’s nothing more liberating than being able to talk about the problem with someone who understands.
If you don’t have an action plan yet, we can come up with one together.
I can give you objective feedback on what to work on on the road to recovery.
You don’t have to go through this alone, it’s much easier if you have someone to guide you.
I have a Master’s degree in Psychology and Diet and Nutrition certificate.

I sought Silvy's help after slipping back into bulimia.
I had "escaped" several times from the vicious cycle of the eating disorder. Still, apparently, this was the result of a change in external circumstances that distracted me from this problem, but this distraction was not sustainable over time.
Silvy's program made me work hard on my inner world, where the root causes of my eating disorder were really rooted.
In addition, Silvy gave me one of the primary weapons that helped me - the feeling that I was not alone in the battle with the eating disorder.
The support and understanding I encountered from her gave me the motivation and confidence to continue fighting for a better relationship with food and my body and a more fulfilling life.

I can't describe this process in words, but working with Silvy changes lives, opens new and unknown doors, and illuminates them with light, color, and warmth!
I want to express my infinite gratitude for leading me and being by my side on this path! If you want too, all you need is Silvy, faith, patience, and action. If I can do it, so can you! Just try it!

I liked the feeling that the person in front of me really cared and was putting effort into making me feel better.
The difference when one has gone through this himself is great. Silvy, you know the feeling and you can step into my shoes.
I liked that you were able to motivate me to do things that I might never have done on my own.
I liked the approach, the challenges, the feedback, and the reflection tasks.
It was extremely helpful to put myself through tests and complete them, no matter how difficult it was for me. I did not expect that there would be a change so quickly.

I founded the Appetite for Happiness Foundation in 2020. When I suffered from bulimia I thought the problem was me.
I didn’t know what an eating disorder was. No one talked about these things, information was scarce.
I wanted to change that and start talking about the problem. That’s how the idea of „Appetite for Happiness“ was born.
The purpose of the Foundation is to inform – what is an eating disorder, what are the reasons for its development, and what can we do to help ourselves or a loved one.
Social media is a great way to reach as many people as possible and talk about eating disorders openly. You can follow me and join the discussions on the topics.
